About This Collection

Replace this page with a description of your collection: what it holds, who built it, and what a reader is meant to do with it.

A few things worth saying here, because readers ask them in this order:

What is in the collection. The scope — a museum’s holdings, a course’s research, a field survey, one excavation.

Who made it. Names, roles, and the course or project this belongs to. If students contributed, say so; public work should credit the people who did it.

How it was made. Where the objects and images come from, what rights they carry, and what a reader may do with them. Collections built from open-access museum images should say which museum and which licence.

How to cite it. Give readers the form you would like to see.
